Refund and Return Policy

At Tiny Welcome, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you’ve changed your mind, we offer a straightforward 30-day return policy.

  1. Your Right to Return

You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Under UK consumer law, customers should notify us within 14 days if they wish to exercise their statutory right to cancel. 

  • The Window: You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your item to us for a refund.
  • Notification: To comply with UK law, please notify us within the first 14 days of this window if you intend to return your order.
  • The Deadline: All returns must be received by us within 30 days of the original delivery date.

2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please email us at hello@tinywelcome.co.uk with your order number. To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned in their original condition: unused, and in their original packaging (unless this is damaged and/or unusable).

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of Mind: The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or if an incorrect item is received please contact us immediately with a photo on hello@tinywelcome.co.uk, or call us on +44 (0)1483 314013. In these cases, we will provide a pre-paid return label and cover all costs to make it right. We will also send out a replacement if required at no cost to yourself. If you do not require a replacement, the cost of the product and your original delivery costs will be refunded in full once we receive your return.

4. Refunds & Original Delivery Charges

  • Standard Non-Faulty Refunds: (Notification within 14 days):  If you notify us of your intent to return your entire order within 14 days of receiving it, we will refund the original purchase price plus our standard outbound delivery charge of £2.50 if you have paid one. Once you have notified us, you have until 30 days from the original delivery date to return the items to us. 
  • Goodwill Non-Faulty Returns (Notification after 14 days): If you notify us of a return after the initial 14-day statutory period (but within our 30-day returns window), we will refund the purchase price of the items only. Original delivery charges will not be refunded.
  • Note on Free Shipping: If your order qualified for Free Delivery (orders of £35 and over), there is no delivery charge to be refunded.
  • Upgraded Shipping: If you chose an upgraded service (e.g., 24-hour tracked), please note that only the standard delivery portion is refundable by law.

Refund Processing Time: Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 3 business days. For damaged or defective items, we'll process your refund immediately upon receipt. In all instances, we will notify you when we have processed your refund.

Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account. While we process refunds within 3 business days, it may take up to 10 business days for funds to appear in your account. If more than 10 business days have passed since we've approved your return, and you have not received your funds, please contact us at hello@tinywelcome.co.uk

5. Exceptions

  • Personalised items made to your specification cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

6. Received as a gift?

·       If you are returning a gift that was purchased for you by someone else, and sent directly from us to you, upon receipt of the returned item, we will issue you with a gift certificate to the value of the product. If we sent it to the person who gifted you, we will issue a refund to the original purchase method.

7. Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, colour, or product, please:

  1. Return your original item to us as outlined in our returns policy above
  2. Once your return is received and processed, you'll receive a full refund
  3. Place a new order for the item you'd like

This process ensures you receive exactly what you want as quickly as possible.
