About Rebecca Lynes

 

Rebecca Lynes is the founder of Tiny Welcome, a UK baby gifting business established in 2018. What began as an Amazon UK store has since grown into a family-run business with the launch of tinywelcome.co.uk in 2025.

As a mother of three, Rebecca's interest in baby gifting began through her own experience of welcoming new babies into her family. While she received many thoughtful gifts, flowers and newborn clothing, she found that practical baby essentials such as towels, blankets and muslins were often overlooked, perhaps because they were not always seen as traditional gifts.

Inspired by this experience, she wanted to create baby hampers that combined useful everyday essentials with giftable presentation, allowing practical items to feel just as special to receive. This idea led to the launch of Tiny Welcome.

Over the past eight years, Rebecca has developed Tiny Welcome into an established UK baby gifting business, supplying curated baby hampers and gift sets to families across the UK. During this time, she has sourced products from established UK suppliers and followed the changing trends in baby gifting, including the growing popularity of baby showers, ready-to-send gift hampers and gender-neutral gifting.

Through the Tiny Welcome blog, Rebecca shares ideas and information on baby gifting, baby showers and welcoming a new arrival, drawing on both personal experience and years of hands-on involvement in the baby gifting industry.
